It's that time of year! This Carnival we're offering three signature flavors of freshly made king cakes from our micro bakery:
Venetian Crème King Cake:
Think classic cream cheese filling—but make it coffee. We start with that silky, rich base you know and love, then blend in bold espresso and just enough sweetness to make it sing. It’s our in-house twist on tradition, inspired by the legendary Venetian Crème drink from Kaldi’s in the French Quarter.
Bavarian Crème King Cake: Like our signature iced drink—but make it King Cake. This one’s filled with a lush blend of coconut cream, dark espresso, and Ghirardelli chocolate for a rich, chocolatey bite that’s smooth, bold, and totally irresistible.
Crème Brûlée King Cake: This year’s signature flavor—and our most decadent yet. Filled with silky vanilla custard and topped with a crisp, crackly layer of caramelized sugar, this one’s a golden, torch-fired tribute to the classic dessert. Creamy, crunchy, ridiculously luxurious—and only here for Carnival 2026.
Coffee Science King Cakes are available for pre-order and pickup during the week and first come first serve in the shop.
We also have our King Cake by the slice in the shop all through Mardi Gras if you need to taste every flavor!
